         DUNE LINES NEWSLETTER NOVEMBER

2009!

THE STAFF OF AL WEEKS AND ASSOC. BELIEVE THAT A BUSINESS SHOULD CONTRIBUTE SOMETHING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY FROM WHERE IT MAKES ITS LIVELYHOOD. THIS NEWSLETTER IS OUR CONTRIBUTION TO KEEP OUR COMMUNITY INFORMED OF EVENTS AND ITEMS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST.

                                             VETERANS DAY IS NOVEMBER 11th!
Sometimes we need to be reminded that our ”freedom is not free”. If it were not for the sacrifice of many, you and I could not enjoy the personal freedoms we take for granted everyday. Unfortunately our young people are not being taught in the classroom to respect the flag of our country and the stories of those who serve to protect our country everyday far away from their homes and families. We as individuals can show our appreciation by flying our flag proudly on November 11th and as you put up the flag take a moment to give a short prayer of thanks.
                                         HAPPY THANKSGIVING
We have so much to be thankful for in Ormond by the Sea. We live in a clean safe community and enjoy the friendship of our neighbors who help each other because they are truly concerned. We enjoy beautiful weather most of the time and we are surrounded by nature. Our air is fresh and clean and the salt water in the ocean is therapeutic.
Often we take our lifestyle for granted. When was the last time you took a walk to the beach at the end of your street just to sit and enjoy the view. There are folks up north knee deep in snow who would be glad to trade places. If you are unable to walk, there is a parking lot to sit in your car, next to the ocean and across the street from Alfies Restaurant. Also, drive up to Highbridge Park where there is a parking lot right on the river. The yachts going south this time of year are beautiful.
What other AFFORDABLE coastal community has all these areas to enjoy nature! Didn’t you make a good decision to become an Ormond by the Sea resident?
